From here you can hire a songtheaw to anywhere in Udon. If you're going to bus station 2 take songtheaw no 7.

For local destinations you can take a samlor. Negotiate the price with the driver before you set off. Taxi-meters can also be found here. Keep an eye on the meter because sometimes, especially at night, the meter mysteriously cuts out and the driver asks for ridiculous money.

You can order a taxi using these numbers:

+66 (0) 872381046

+66 (0) 836668819

+66 (0) 891874141

From bus station 1, private buses leave several times a day to Pattaya, Phuket, Hua Hin and other tourist destinations.

In the following table we've displayed the schedule of the public busses from Udon Thani to Ban Phai, Chayaphum, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Phanom, Nong Khai, Roi Et, Ubon Ratchathani, Vientiane (Laos) and Wangsamor.
