City Hall dishes up aid for market vendors

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has cut rent rates at its 10 markets to ease the plight of vendors hit by the recent coronavirus outbreak. BMA deputy clerk Wullaya Wattanarat said that Bangkok governor Pol Gen Aswin Kwanmuang has instructed the BMA's market office to come up with remedial measures for affected tenants.
