Bank of Thailand

The Bank of Thailand is the Thai Central Bank and is based in Bangkok, capital of Thailand. It was formed by the Thai National Banking Bureau. It's duties and responsibilities were outlined on the 28th of April 1942 in the Bank of Thailand Act, and on the 10th of December 1942 the Bank started operating. It's responsibilities include, amongst other things, monetary policy decisions, advising the government on economic policy matters, printing and issuing banknotes and the supervision of the national banks.
