Holiday in honour of the coronation of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn
The fourth of May is a public holiday in Thailand to honour the coronation of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn.
King Maha Vajiralongkorn, also called King Rama X, ascended the throne in December 2016 after the death of his father, King Bhumibol Adulyadej, in October of the same year and the invitation of the Thai Parliament.
