Sirindhorn Aquarium Nong Khai
The Sirindhorn Aquarium is located on the campus of Khon Kaen University, and is part of an outsourced department in the province of Nong Khai, a few kilometers from the Laos border. From Udon Thani take the main road towards Mitraphap Nong Khai, and turn left at the fork for the Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge. Once on this road, turn left again after crossing the railroad tracks. Now you can see the aquarium, follow the road to the parking lot in front of the aquarium. In December 2016 the admission cost for adults was 50 THB (Thai) 100 THB (foreigners). Thai driving licenses are accepted for a farang discount. We have an article about the aquarium in our photoblog, with pictures and a video.
