A visit to Chatuchak Market
We recently visited Chatuchak Weekend Market in Bangkok to buy a puppy (unsuccessfully) and some live fish (partially successfully). The place was full of falangs (Westerners / tourists) and this was probably why the prices we were quoted were a lot higher than you would pay in Udon Thani. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and saw plenty of interesting things.
The main entrance - gate 1.
Plenty of stalls selling a variety of goods, including potteries.
A stall selling greeting cards.
Plenty of falangs looking for a bargain in the narrow aisles.
Also there were many food stalls,
And small restaurants.
